Sunset Festival of Bands – Sumner, WA (15th Annual)
This year’s Sunset Festival of Bands in Sumner was an incredible showcase for the Peninsula High School Bands and Colorguard. Competing in Division 2, our students gave a performance full of precision, passion, and showmanship — earning 2nd place overall, just barely missing first.
But that’s not all! Our students were recognized for outstanding excellence in multiple areas:
🥁 Most Improved – highlighting the growth and effort of our ensemble
🎖 Best Drum Majors – recognizing exceptional leadership on the field
🥁 Best Percussion – honoring our powerhouse rhythm section
The dedication, energy, and teamwork displayed by every student, staff member, and volunteer made this achievement possible. From the marching formations to the music, every aspect of the performance reflected the countless hours of hard work and commitment.
We are beyond proud of our students and can’t wait to see what they achieve in upcoming competitions this season!
